House League Hockey
Age is determined by participant's age as of December 31st.
Slingshots Select Program
Our "North" division was first introduced in our 2006-2007 hockey season as an option for league members wanting to advance their hockey development at a higher level of play and discipline, while enjoying the experience and character developed through representing BCHL in tournament play against other non-contact teams from outside of our league. Our "North" division is thus our non-contact tournament team division currently comprising of one team each representing Novice, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam, Midget and Juvenile age groups. Hockey Skills Development Programs | Instructional Programs
BCHL offers a number of different programs over the season to provide our members with opportunities for additional instruction and skill development outside of our house league and rep hockey programs. This includes power skating, fundamental skill development, situational hockey, goalies clinics and more. Click here to find out more about current programs available.
PowerPlay Summer Hockey Camp
PowerPlay Summer Hockey Camp is designed to give hockey players the opportunity to develop skills and
attitudes to impact their game. This will be done through focused instruction on key skills,
Christian character and team work.
This is a week long program running from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, August 22nd to August 26th, 2011 out of Innisfil Recreation Centre. The program includes 10 hours of on ice time, a variety of dry land training, time in the swimming pool, and daily devotionals.
Ages: 9 - 14 (born 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02)
Cost: $375.00 per participant.
Coaching Clinics
Central Ontario Coaching Clinic. The largest hockey clinic north of Toronto with guest instructor Ryan Walter. The Central Ontario Coaching Clinic is recognized as a qualifying activity for the OMHA's Continuing Education Program (CEP). Participation in this event carries a credit of 20 points towards coaching certificaiton.
Date: Saturday, June 18th , 2011; Location: Holly Recreation Centre, Barrie; Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Referees Clinic
Details for our BCHL house league referees clinic for the 2011-2012 season will be posted here when information becomes available. If you are a BCHL member (player or parent) with refereeing experience or have an interest to start refereeing, we would like to hear from you. Please e-Mail our head referee to inquire and/or to express your interest. This is a great opportunity for additional involvement in our league and to make a little money at the same time.
